I recently attended a Think Tank on Trends and the Future of Work and we concluded that:
With out humans we don’t have talent.
That our are jobs more complex and will be transformed.
We are going to have to learn new skills and it is not that jobs disappear, they are going to be redesigned.
In 3 variables jobs will change:
The type of work we do
The type of skills they require
Remuneration and organizational structures.
We talk about new organizational models, new management, communication and participation styles where the leadership style should be inspiring. People beyond technology.
Jobs that imply empathy will be revalued and 50% of people will be freelance that is already a reality in the USA.
What will companies do before a mass of highly qualified professionals who want their independence?
Why do they prefer to be freelance and what will companies do to attract talent and retain it? What should companies do?
