Why does the question about #Salary in an #job interview give so many headaches?

Does this situation sound familiar to you?

You should not put a price as if you were a house or a car, but if you know your USP and professional value.

✅First listen to the job description, requirements and functions, before telling them the salary range you are in or would like to be.

⛔️If you are asked first thing, you can elegantly say:

“I would like to know more details about the position before addressing this issue.”

⛔️And if at the end of the interview they ask you, avoid the answer of: “I’d rather you say first what the salary is”.

🏄🏄‍♀️Ladies and Gentlemen we are Professionals and we must act as such.

If after an interview, answering this question is hard for you, the interviewer can interpret it in several ways:

  • The job is not for you
  • You are not open to changes
  • You are not interested in the project
  • Only the economic issue motivates you

Therefore, if you do not want to arise any confusion you shall respond.
